This rule suggests that 80% of results come from 20% of the work we put in. This rule can be applied to most aspects of life. I suggest you look back at your to-do list and just for the sake of keeping things simple, keep it between 5-10 tasks. Using this principle you can eliminate most of these tasks and narrow them down to the most important tasks you feel you need to focus on. It will feel weird at first but you will get used to it and in the end, it will save you a lot of time in the long run. Say 'No' In life, we get so caught up with random stuff coming our way. We can only handle so much in one day. Being able to say no to things will help keep your stress levels down and maintain a laser focus on what's important to you. I know you don't want to be rude and yes it is polite to help a friend or a work colleague but in the end, you don't want to spread yourself so thin that you can't even complete the simplest of tasks. Eat the biggest frog Another way to help with time management is by focusing on eating the biggest frog of the day. What did you just say? 'Eat a Frog?' If you have 2 frogs, well eat the biggest one first and focus on the second later. The meaning of 'eat that frog' means just get up and do it because otherwise, the frog will, in the end, eat you.
